Why?

I overhastily ordered my VCore 3 500 side panels with the standard dxf's provided by RatRig, ignoring, that I won't use the standard LAN sockets, so there was this rectangular hole… Furthermore I don't like exposed mains wires inside the printer.

Features:

Covering the LAN socket with a fancy RatRigCornerPlate-pattern and providing a snap in fix for a standard C14 IEC socket

Requirements / Mounting:

Use any material you like, simply doesn't matter

Flat version: For those who simply want to cover the LAN socket and don't care about exposed mains wires inside the printer there is the "Power Inlet flat.stl" Just fix it to the side panel using M3 screws, you don't need to widen the opening for the IEC socket, it simply snaps in.

“Other” version: I added a long sleeve to hide the mains wirings that reach through the side panel into the printer. Here you have to widen the IEC socket opening in the side panel for the sleeve to fit through, just use your trusty dremel, rough edges will be covered by the plate.

Take care, that your socket, the sockets fuse AND the integrated switch match your needed current!

Hope you like it, comments and feedback always appreciated :-)
