I modified my setup to bypass mounting the X-axis endstop on the X-carriage. To make it work, I ensured that the Y axis is always homed before attempting to home the X axis.\r\n\r\nTo compensate for the mismatch, I added a 2 mm spacer, using a small nut, to align the Y-axis endstop with the X-carriage.\r\n\r\nMy endstops utilize Omron D2F-01L3-D components.
