Ratrig v-core pro Hemera mount - endstop, bltouch, mgn15

+++++ New version 13 May 2020 - Joined both designs with and without filament sensor +++++ After testing several designs for having the Duet 3D laser filament v2 attached to the mount I've decided to simplify things, now: - there's only one design that allows you to attach the laser filament sensor from DUET 3D or anything else you feel you want to have on your extruder mount ;-); - If you want to have the filament sensor just print the case that is provided by Duet 3D (link below) and screw it to the 2 holes that I've added to the mount - v24; - If don't want it you just print the STL provided in this design; I also suggest to follow this order as it makes attaching everything a lot easier: 1) screw the Bltouch (M2.5 screws) 2) screw the X endstop (2x M2 screws and nuts) 3) attach the belts to the mount on the right using nylon self locking fasteners (2) - take in consideration you need to make final adjustments later 4) attach the mount to the Mgn15 carriage (4x M3 screws) 5) attach the belt tensioners to the belts, put the nuts in place and attach to the left side of the mount (long screw (2xM4) from the right side should go through the mount holes and attach to the nuts (2x M4)) 6) screw the Hemera (4x M3 screws and at least 2 square nuts) 7) fine tune the belt tensioners (don’t need to be super tight - this may produce ghosting) 8) optional - filament sensor: 8.1 attach the Duet 3D filament sensor to the case they designed (link below) 8.2 attach the (Capricorn tube) to the Hemera and to the filament sensor - cut it to fit taking in consideration the distance it will be placed on the mount 8.3 screw the filament sensor using 2x M3 screws to the mount 8.4 attach a piece of capricorn tubing to the other end 9) attach all the electrical cabling 10) happy printing +++++ OLD: New version 5 May 2020 +++++ Small adjustments for better fitting the Hemera. Removed the need fro brass inserts, now two 2,5mm screws should securely place the BLTouch. NEW since 4 May 2020: revised placement of the filament monitor placed in a less obtrusive position. +++++ OLD: New version 26 April 2020 +++++ I've uploaded a new version with relevant changes to the design: - offset between Hemera mount and MGN15 mount enlarged so it avoids the left z axis everytime; - added the option to include Duet3D laser filament sensor; +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This is a remix from "Hemera Mount for Ratrig Vcore2 Pro with BLTouch" by HaythamB and "e3d Hemera/Hermes mount Rat Rig V-Core Pro" by Oranginator available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4033585 and here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4175390. The first design works great but has no belt tensioning and the second design also works well but has no BLTouch support. My design combines both designs and provides a mount for E3D Hemera on a MGN15 linear rail like the one in the Ratrig V-Core Pro with belt tensioning and support for x-axis endstop and BLTouch. The filament sensor in use is the Filament Monitor V2 from Duet3D, you can find here more info and the stl for the the case that you will need to print https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet3dFilamentMonitor_LaserVersion For attaching the filament sensor, to the base and the mount you will need 2 M3 screws. Its easy to print on one side with supports only touching the bed - advise to print using ABS/PETG or other material that can handle better the heat. The version with the filament sensor should be printed in dark grey or black, according with Duet3D. You will need to print a filament fan mount of your choice (notice the BLTouch is directly behind the extruder so not all types of fan will work) and the belt tensioners provided by Ratrig with the kit or available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3963811 Please send me feedback but expect no further improvements.
