RatRig V-Core 3.0 to 3.1 XY Joiner Plate Modification

<p>This print is a "drill jig" to assist in converting your existing 3.0 XY Joiner plates to work with 3.1 bearing stacks and printed parts. Simply print 2 of these drill jigs (they usually get destroyed while drilling), insert your existing XY Joiner plates, flip over, and use the holes to drill new holes in the correct position.</p><p>This will require that the plates be installed flipped over from how they were originally oriented, but will match the new 3.1 plates &amp; printed components afterwards. This adds 2 new holes for the idler pulleys, and has a guide to increasing the center holes for hex key clearance using a rotary tool like a Dremel – THIS IS OPTIONAL!</p><p>Holes added should be drilled with a 5.0-5.3mm drill bit. A little bit of “slop” here is OK, so these holes will be OK even up to 5.5mm (or possibly larger, but it isn't recommended).</p><p><strong>PLEASE NOTE</strong> - Files provided for printing have either 0.2mm or 0.4mm clearance in case your plates are slightly bigger than “perfect”. Please choose the size you feel appropriate, or just print two of each.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE DOING - PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE AND DRILL YOUR OWN PLATES!</strong></p>
