Ratner Key Change Safe Lock

Ratner key change safe locks are now available in a 3D printable version. Some minor modifications have been made to make this lock suitable for 3D printing. This lock was originally installed in Ratner safes, manufactured in England and exported worldwide. The lock's unique feature is its ability to easily change keys. Once unlocked, inserting a new key sets a new combination every time the safe is opened. The levers and combination wheels operate independently of each other. For more information on this 3D printed safe, visit http://24hourlocksmith.com.au/3d-printed-safe/. This design consists of only six easily printable parts. However, there are seven wheels and seven levers involved. A thicker key was designed to make it stronger than the original Ratner safe key. When printing, a piece of cardboard can be used to support the underside of the flag. If the plastic doesn't stick well to the cardboard, hairspray can be applied. Here are my print settings: I use a RepRap printer brand and set the resolution to .4. Rafts and supports are not required for this design. Infill is all solid except for the bolt and body, which are set at 40% infill. This lock was designed based on the Ratner safe lock from the Ratner safe company in England, manufactured over a hundred years ago.
