Rathalos - Monster Hunter v2 with removable tail

Beware the mighty Rathalos, a fearsome creature from the Monster Hunter series. This model features a tail that can be detached, making it perfect for d20 games where an extra carve is always welcome. I had previously uploaded a Rathalos model in need of refinement, and now that work is complete. With new skills under my belt, here are the results. I began with a gamerip from Monster Hunter Tri, which I then processed through makeprintable.com to create a watertight mesh. Next, I posed it in Blender, a process that consumed the most time. After that, I sliced the model in Meshmixer to reduce supports and simplify printing. As a bonus, I've included a complete model in the downloads. To print this model effectively, I recommend enabling "print thin walls" and "horizontal expansion" with multiple nozzle settings, such as 0.4mm, 0.8mm, or 1.2mm. This ensures that the wing membrane is adequately thickened. All models will require rotation to ensure they lie flat on the print bed; Cura's lay flat button works well for this purpose. Despite reduced supports, cut parts may still need additional support structures. Scale the tail pin smaller than the rest of the components, depending on your printer's accuracy. I personally scale the tail pin to 1300%, the base to 200%, and the remaining parts to 1500% to achieve a gargantuan size in DnD, Pathfinder, or 28mm scale. I printed this model using an Alunar m505 with Dazzle Light white PLA at 0.12 layer height, 200c nozzle temperature, 0.4 nozzle diameter, and a speed of 50 mm. I hope you'll find it satisfactory.
