A one-way driving gear with an internal ratchet structure is created while preventing reverse motion. The 3D-printed design aims to develop a compact, locking, silent ratchet for small spring drive systems in space-constrained areas. Version 2 (V2) is the initial printed model that holds promise but fails to ratchet due to binding flexible sections.
