A YouTube video showcases a man printing PLA glue sticks to join multi-part prints. However, the trigger pusher doesn't grip correctly due to PLA's inflexibility and smooth surface. To solve this, a user designed a ratcheted glue stick in 4-6 inch versions for a standard 7/16-inch glue gun. These sticks work effectively when printed with 100% fill and low quality settings. The bottom of each stick features a stabilizing disc, which is removed before use. Adjust the ratchet spacing according to your printer's specifications, with 1.2mm being suggested.
