Manufactured in ABS material, this component was printed using an Ultimaker 2 at a temperature of 230C with a precision layer height of 0.2 mm. A standard servo is utilized to advance the ratchet mechanism, featuring approximately a 30-degree throw. In the accompanying video, an Arduino device controls the operation of the servo motor. The pawl component is precisely positioned, screwed in line with the center of the ratchet at a distance of 26.57 mm. The hub of the servo is situated 25.5 mm outward and 38.3 mm upward from the central axis of the ratchet mechanism. A 19 mm arm connects the ratchet arm to the servo motor, ensuring precise movement and functionality. All mounting holes measure 2 mm in diameter, but can be easily drilled larger for custom applications.
