Infobots are an iconic element of the Ratchet & Clank series, frequently making their presence known. These compact robots pack recordings or broadcasts along with coordinates to the planet where the recordings originated. When they open their metallic jaws, a flat square-shaped screen expands from within, playing out the video content contained inside. Their debut appearance in the original Ratchet & Clank game was significant, as they played a pivotal role in the storyline by guiding Ratchet and Clank to every other planet via provided coordinates.
