Welcome to the Rat Rig V-Core project, a DIY CoreXY 3D printer kit that's taking the community by storm. With CoreXY printers gaining popularity, we realized there was a shortage of high-quality kits that included comprehensive build guides and OpenBuilds components. We're changing that with our rock-solid V-Core design. Using aluminum plates for structural integrity and motion carriage parts, combined with very few printed parts, we've created an open-source platform that delivers exceptional specs. Our printer boasts a large 300x300x300mm build volume, with a compact footprint of 570x506mm. It features 6mm GT2 belts, Nema17 motors (optional), and a dual Z lead screw cantilever design with anti-backlash nuts. Tough polycarbonate wheels ensure smooth Z rail movement, while the E3D v6 compatible hotend mount provides flexibility. An inductive bed leveling probe mounting point is also included.
