Rat Bait Station

Rat Bait Station

thingiverse

I realized that I needed a rat bait station as the rats in my area were getting out of hand. So, I created one using OpenSCAD. The model was already cut up into printable-sized chunks. Printing: I used a 0.4 nozzle and 0.35mm layers to print it. The tee required support during printing. You need two body extensions and one rest piece to complete the setup. I printed with PLA, but time will tell if the rats prefer that to the bait. To use the station, simply hang bait on a stiff wire from the cap down into the feeder tube. As each block is consumed, a new one falls down the wire to replace it. The joiners have a little sloppy tolerance, so some glue was needed to get them to fit together properly. However, they're good enough for this purpose. The source code is included, so if you want better joiners, feel free to edit and improve it.
