Hi! First off, thanks a ton for joining the RASSOR Bucket Drum Design Challenge! I'm using SolidWorks 2018 to create this design. The challenge requires that our bucket drum has a maximum mass of 5 kg, including bearings, and should have a max diameter of 450 mm and a length of 360 mm. We need to capture at least 64% of the volume inside with each revolve, which is about 36.4 liters. This design will mostly be made from aluminum alloy and I'll be using spring steel for the ratchet gear. Check out my YouTube channel for more info on this project!
