The collection vessel measures 435 mm in diameter and 10 mm thick, while its length is 340 mm. The gathering cylinder (baffle's) dimensions are also notable: 340 mm in length and 425 mm in diameter. Titanium grade 4 was chosen for its exceptional strength. The bucket's drum features four openings that allow regolith to be received from sharp-pointed scoops with an efficient and optimized shape. This configuration contributes to a fill ratio greater than 50 percent, resulting in the collection of more than 17.6 liters of regolith. The overall weight of the collecting cylinder is 4 kg. During loading, the bucket drums rotate in tandem; during unloading, their motion reverses to release the collected regolith into space. This design is straightforward and easy to assemble, with two closing caps bolted to either side of the collection vessel and the titanium baffles welded securely to its interior.
