Rasperry Pi Zero IR Camera housing
thingiverse
A quick and easy housing for a Raspberry Pi Zero + IR Cam with IR LED. Google "MotionEyeOS" to find the software. Here's a picture of the camera module available on eBay that I used. Since my application was close-up, I only needed one IR LED - using two would have required a bigger power supply. There are mounting points inside for the Pi Zero. It's a tight fit, so make sure your software is working before putting it in the case. My USB power cable didn't actually fit inside the case, so I just drilled a hole in the top - oops! You can either screw the housing to a wall or use the loop at the top of the case to hang it. The face plate is 71mm in diameter and could be remodeled for any camera module. I didn't include a way to mount the camera, so I just drilled some holes and secured it with a zip tie. Designed in Fusion 360. The project file is included. Not my best work, but it did the job just fine. I printed it using Draft mode with White PLA - which never prints well for me.
