RaspberryPi Ceiling Mount
thingiverse
A ceiling mount for a RaspberryPi. The 'base' portion screws to the ceiling an has a hole to run cables through, plus access for the SD card. The 'globe' is about 200mm wide so should fit on many printers. This has a twist-lock feature so the globe can snap into the base for easy install & removal once the base is installed. There is plenty of room inside for a hat and I tried to allow room for bend radius on wires installed to USB, Ethernet, power socket. Vent holes around the upward facing portion of the globe can be used to pass wires and add ambient lighting via LEDs shining up at the ceiling. I print this on my Anet A8 with 0.2mm layer height to get the twist lock portion to work well. The base prints without supports, but I did use some on the globe with overhang angle up to 75° just to get a little help towards the center of the print. Requires a 90° adapter for most power cords on the Micro USB socket unless you run power in via GPIO or PoE Feel free to remix to add things like sensor holes, etc.
