RaspberryPi Camera Focus Screwdriver (short)
thingiverse
Absolutely based on the RaspberryPi CameraV2 screwdriver by ascii_ch (Thank you)... When I put his model on my slicer, I thought it was unnecessarily tall, so I imported the stl into Blender, duplicated it... cut the top of one, the bottom off the other and then merged the two halves back into one model. There's probably an easier way to do this, but at the moment, my capabilities in Blender are restricted to Boolean operations and as of today, the Bisect function!! All videos on the Internet about the Raspberry Pi camera either tell you it's a fixed focus camera (true, it comes with blobs of glue holding the lens) or they tell you to remove the blobs of glue with a sharp implement and then focus using a pair of pliers... Obviously that makes a bit of a mess of the housing, and this tool is a much more elegant solution. You now have the options of a long tool (ascii-ch's original) or if space is tight, my modification! You shouldn't need to print a raft for this 'Thing', especially as it is not as tall as it was, but you may want to put a brim around it. I printed without one, but my bed is pretty sticky! Cura says it will take 1.5 hours to print... you could probably reduce this by taking out infill and reducing the walls... as I say, it does not need to be very robust. It's 88mm tall and 23.6mm diameter for the handle.
