Raspberry zero TM1637 LED clock project covered in vaneer
thingiverse
This is a project to create a concealed LED timepiece. I have employed a raspberry zero and a TM1637 LED display.\r\n\r\nThe code for the clock was derived from here:\r\nhttps://www.instructables.com/id/Raspberry-Pi-Amateur-Radio-Digital-Clock/\r\n\r\nThe case was fabricated in PLA, and once the raspberry pi and clock were installed, they were secured in place using epoxy. The lid was then attached.\r\n\r\nAfter that, I acquired a Think Wood Vanner and applied it to the exterior of the box. It took several attempts to work with the vaneer, but the final result is satisfactory.\r\n\r\nRemember to set the brightness of the LED to 7 when setting up, so it shines through the wood veneer. You can also sand the veneer over the clock face area to make it thinner.
