Raspberry & SSD enclosure
thingiverse
I was really frustrated with the performance of SD Cards in my Raspberry PI setup, but I discovered a game-changer. Since it's possible to boot a Raspberry 3B or 3B+ directly from a USB drive, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a custom casing for my Raspberry and an SSD. My 3D-printed server case now houses a Raspberry Pi 3B and a massive 120G SSD. And guess what? It works flawlessly. To get started, I used the excellent design from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1015706 as my base, and I'm forever grateful for that perfect blueprint.
