Raspberry Rackmount
thingiverse
What was the intention ===================== I aimed to set up a 19-inch rack with multiple Raspberry Pis operating as a server cluster. A key requirement was to swap out SD cards from the front panel and make all USB and network connectors accessible from there. After conducting research, I found numerous Raspberry Pi cases but none met my needs. What I accomplished ================ I purchased a 19-inch ABS rack case and designed custom Raspberry Pi holders to replace the front plate. To fully enclose the case, spacers were necessary to fill the gap between the Pis. These spacers can be customized for use as power switches or reset buttons per device. Which parts did I use ===================== I obtained a 19-inch rack case and an SD card holder from reichelt.de, a German online retailer. Specifically, I ordered the Raspberry Pi MicroSD Extension - Flexible 15cm (RPI-MSD-FL15) and the 19" Rack Gehäuse 1 HE ABS Schwarz RND 455 00114.
