Raspberry Pints / BrewPi Box
thingiverse
This is a custom enclosure I designed to house all the components for my Raspberry Pi and BrewPi setup. The system manages digital tap lists for beers, which feature flow meters that track how much beer remains. You can learn more about it at raspberrypints.com and homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=466106. The front panel has a spot to mount a motion sensor and the relay for the BrewPi. The Raspberry Pi and Alamode board are situated on the bottom, accompanied by two modules from https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DS266M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which serve as connectors for the flow meters. A third screw terminal is located on the left side of the pictures. This is used to connect the wiring for the rest of the BrewPi system. The Arduino Uno is positioned opposite to this terminal. The rear panel features a mounting point for an outlet box required to control power to the freezer used as a keggerator. It also includes a 12-port wall plate from https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0032FXOBC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I utilized Cat5 cables for my flow meters and temperature controllers, and the plate has passthroughs for USB, HDMI, and audio connections. This enclosure is remarkably compact. Revision C was uploaded, and it's slightly larger than its predecessor due to space constraints. It was a tight fit! All wiring had to be completed before assembling everything. Furthermore, removing the power box allows access to the Raspberry Pi card, which is required for removal. To accommodate the 12-port wall plate, I trimmed down the cover of the power box as it was too large initially. The design was limited by the size of my printer bed. This was printed on a Wanhoa I3, and the last picture shows that it took over 48 hours to complete. If you need to make any modifications for your specific parts, I've included the original Sketchup file in the package. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhoa I3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 20%
