Raspberry Pi4 Case for HiFiBerry Amp2
thingiverse
This is a perfect case for a Raspberry Pi 4. It houses a Hifiberry AMP2 amplifier with ease. All ports on the Rasberry are open and easily accessible. I have cleverly hidden all sockets for the amp, allowing you to simply insert wires and screw them in from the top holes. The front features clear markings indicating which wire goes where. The case boasts standoffs at the bottom, and I've created spacers to keep the AMP2 at a safe distance from the GPIO ports, preventing any flexing or damage. The lid is designed with a clip-on mechanism that should fit perfectly. All parts that clip together are slightly smaller than intended for 3D printing tolerances, except the standoffs - these can be easily sanded down if needed. To keep things sleek and clean, I've avoided adding grills or fan slots to this design. My Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 devices have performed flawlessly with just a heatsink, so I'm curious to hear from you about how the Pi4 handles heat. As it stands, nothing gets too hot on my devices since they only play music - a simple heatsink seems sufficient. Feel free to modify this design to your liking, and if you find it useful, consider leaving a tip. It would be great to show my wife that my tinkering isn't completely worthless after all!
