Raspberry Pi3 (internal 30 mm fan) for Prusa Mk3/Mk3s
thingiverse
This is a modified version of the original remix from Agarajag and AlxMoon, taken from hackoholic.\r\n\r\nTo enhance airflow and thermal performance, I've recessed the top case by 1mm where the fan fits, allowing me to install a thin 30mm fan (7mm thick) internally with an aluminum heatsink on the CPU.\r\n\r\nMy CPU temperature has decreased significantly from 53C to 42C (ambient temperature was 30C), thanks to the added cooling system.\r\n\r\nThe fan grill cover was sourced from thingiverse.com, specifically thing:2523236. Note that the fine hexagon version may be challenging to print with a 0.4mm nozzle; I used a 0.25mm nozzle for my project.\r\n\r\nUpdate March 3rd, 2020:\r\n\r\nI've revised the top case design to improve its structural integrity by adding more strength to the mount arm and created a notch in the bottom case to showcase the Pi's LEDs.
