Raspberry Pi3 and LM2596 frame mount
thingiverse
I was in dire need of a Raspberry Pi 3+ mount, and something to securely hold my LM2596 DC-DC converter as well. The Pi is powered directly via the LM2596 which is connected to the pinheaders. With the Mount it's now neatly packed on the lower frame using xxricsxx total conversion kit. If you plan to do this, make sure to set the voltage BEFORE connecting it to the Pi. Don't risk damaging your precious device!
