Raspberry Pi Zero Unicorn
thingiverse
A custom-designed Raspberry Pi Zero enclosure tailored specifically for the Pimoroni Unicorn pHAT. The Raspberry Pi Zero ports are fully accessible, while the top securely snaps onto the bottom section. Approximately 0.2mm of plastic material is placed directly above the LEDs to create a bright yet subtly diffused appearance. I recommend either white or transparent options to allow for the full spectrum of colors. Print the top and bottom sections as well as the support pins. Assemble by carefully inserting the Raspberry Pi into the case's lower section. Add the support pins and install the Unicorn pHAT. When installing the top, note that the clips are not centered due to the Raspberry Pi Zero's geometry, which is offset towards the MicroSD card slot. Ensure you attach the top in the correct direction. After attaching the top, it can be challenging to disassemble without breaking the case's clips. If removal is necessary, press on the side with the microUSB and HDMI adapters first to release that clip. Then gently pry open the opposite side using a small screwdriver.
