New Version: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2951090 - a significant upgrade over the original. I've also developed an audio recognition software that can recognize keywords, simple commands, and numbers, as well as baby crying and other sounds, with more features to come (such as light control). This software runs seamlessly on the Pi Zero. Check it out here: https://github.com/nyumaya/nyumaya_audio_recognition As an alternative to the elusive Google AIY kit, I've created a speaker box that provides ample space for a PiZero and other components. The speaker used is a standard 3-inch 4-ohm model, which comes with the Google AIY kit and can also be sourced from other suppliers (such as Adafruit). Watch it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeX9NlU-ESQ. I'm utilizing the Zenbu-Hat, available for purchase here: https://nyumaya.com/shop, which serves as an amp and mic combo. Alternatively, breakout boards (MAX98357A for amp and SPH0645LM4H for mic) can be used, but this may require some tinkering. The new version boasts a sleeker speaker grill and enough space for the Raspberry camera cable, eliminating the ugly gap from the previous iteration.
