Raspberry Pi Zero pcb Cover

Raspberry Pi Zero pcb Cover

I was looking for a simple yet durable cover for the top and bottom of a Raspberry Pi Zero unit that would safeguard it from scratches, minor crushing, and impacts it might face in a pocket, bag, or at the bottom of a cluttered drawer, while still allowing for easy use and minimalism. I shielded the GPIO pins on this particular model because I have a collection of Pi Zeros without headers and wanted the PCB to be fully encased. I've created two versions of the bottom cover, one featuring a 1mm standoff distance and another that is flush. There are no issues with the flush mount bottom, but you might prefer some clearance for heat dissipation or other reasons, so I've included both options. The holes are designed to accommodate M2.5 x 12 mm socket cap screws and nuts; however, I used M3 screws in my setup, which required enlarging the PCB holes slightly.
