Raspberry Pi Zero Case
thingiverse
This is my custom Pi Zero Case, designed specifically to hold the Pi Zero W, but it also works seamlessly with the normal Pi Zero and wifi dongles as well. Its design allows the Pi to slide in effortlessly, with the power cord serving as a stabilizer that keeps everything securely in place. Since it utilizes a sleeve to cradle the Pi, this case is incredibly robust and doesn't compromise mounting lugs, eliminating the need for screws or bolts altogether. In addition, the top can be equipped with a vibrant Neopixel LED ring for added flair and a rotary encoder if you desire some input functionality. I've also managed to fit an I2C audio amp and rectangular speaker inside, making it easy to print everything out. The only trick is printing the LED diffuser in PETG with 0% infill. If you're interested in just using this case as a simple enclosure, feel free to omit the light ring. I'll also be adding a knob replacement that fits snugly, ensuring everything comes together nicely. I'm excited for you to see it and experience a welcome change from standard flat rectangles. Be sure to check out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2611073 for a version with an integrated OLED display. If you're interested in taking your project to the next level, I've written an instructable on using this case and a Pi Zero to control mains sockets via Alexa and emulate RF signals required for the plugs. You can find it at https://www.instructables.com/id/Alexa-and-Remote-Controlled-Main-Plugs/. For those who have asked, I do have some of these cases available on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/677951959/raspberry-pi-zero-case
