Raspberry Pi Zero Case - Neopixel Strip - Fifth Element Inspired
thingiverse
After revisiting the iconic film "The Fifth Element," I felt an overwhelming urge to craft a bespoke Raspberry Pi Zero W enclosure that pays homage to the movie's majestic elemental stones. Their distinctive triangular shape has long fascinated me, and I couldn't resist the opportunity to recreate it in 3D form. To bring my vision to life, I incorporated a vibrant LED strip (WS2812b, Neopixels) behind a sleek black acrylic glass panel. This subtle yet striking design element adds an extra layer of visual depth to the overall aesthetic. For now, I'm relying on small pieces of diffuser paper to subtly diffuse the light and create a mesmerizing glow. The assembly process is remarkably straightforward – the acrylic glass is carefully affixed to one side, while the remaining components are simply plugged together. When printing this design, it's essential to orient the longest side downward, as demonstrated in the accompanying image.
