Raspberry Pi Zero Camera Window Mount
thingiverse
This is a basic window mount for the Raspberry Pi Zero combined with a mini camera. It's merely an initial version of what I aim to create as a more advanced camera mount. I want to make the camera head pivot so it can be directed upwards or downwards. Currently, the Sainsmart camera simply fits into the opening for the camera just enough to hold it in place without glue or a fastener. I am able to tilt the camera head up and down. This is not an ideal solution, but it's sufficient until I design a pivot mount for the camera head. This project utilizes: A Raspberry Pi Zero W (Wi-Fi model) A Sainsmart Mini Raspberry Pi Zero Camera located here: https://www.sainsmart.com/products/mini-size-5-megapixel-camera-module-for-raspberry-pi-zero Simple M2.5 brass spacers to mount the Pi to the camera mount (available on Amazon) Two suction cups that I found at Michael's craft store in the US. The suction cups simply pop into the holes on the mount. Further details will be provided soon regarding the software used, but the basics can be accomplished using Raspian OS and the Python camera software included with it.
