Protect your Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3 with this robust 2mm Acrylcase! I carefully designed it from scratch to fit perfectly on my RPi Zero 1.3 board. Even a Pimoroni BLINKT module fits snugly on top of the GPIO pins. The little rectangles on the middle plate are an added precaution that prevents brownout of some parts on the RPi Zero PCB. If you plan to mount a heatsink onto the CPU, ensure it has the following dimensions: 13mm x 12mm x 5mm. Mine reaches a temperature of about 47°C while running under load. Don't worry about the Mini-HDMI and Micro-USB ports - I tested them with the fattest plugs and adapters without any issues. The CAD-files are specifically designed for Lasercutters, using a GCC SPIRIT GX (60W CO²-Tube) for precise cuts. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: - 2mm Acrylic glass (at least 105mm x 72mm) - 4x M2.5x12 bolts - 4x M2.5 nuts - 24x M2.5 washers How I Designed This: I took precise measurements of the RPi Zero with a caliper, created detailed front and top view pictures of the board, sketched out a raw concept for the case, fueled up on excessive amounts of coffee, and fine-tuned every detail to perfection.
