Raspberry Pi Xilinx programmer case
thingiverse
A case for Raspberry Pi used as a versatile Xilinx CPLD/FPGA programmer, designed to accommodate two 5V regulators, ideal for model airplane SBEC applications. A convenient opening at the rear is perfect for securing a 5mm power plug in place. To ensure reliable operation, use one regulator (SBEC) or USB to power the Pi, while employing a separate regulator to supply power to the board being programmed. This configuration prevents the Pi from rebooting due to a surge in current when the CPLD device is connected. A narrow slot on the side allows for efficient routing of programming wires outwards. For detailed guidance on wiring the programming cable to the GPIO and programming with Raspberry Pi, refer to the comprehensive tutorial at: https://github.com/terriblefire/tf530/wiki/Flashing-the-CPLDs-with-a-Raspberry-Pi
