Raspberry Pi with Heatsink Case for Prusa MKS3s
thingiverse
This is a remix of a remix, or rather, a remix within a remix.I believe that's correct. The origins of this case are:\r\n\r\n- [Raspberry Pi Case for Prusa MKS3s ](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3909388), which came from:\r\n- [RaspberryPi3 Mk3 Case](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3004038), which came from:\r\n- [OctoPi Case for Prusa i3 MK2S and MK3](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2334119), which came from:\r\n- [Raspberry Pi case for Prusa i3 / i3 Mk2](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1325370)\r\n\r\nThese modifications were done by @gromitdj on [Homebrewtalk.com](https://www.homebrewtalk.com).\r\n\r\nI have a Prusa MK3S and wanted to use a Raspberry Pi 3B+ that I had. My Pi has not only a heat sink on the processor, but also on the I/O and RAM, which is located at the bottom of the board. So, this remix adds a clearance hole for the heat sink on the bottom.\r\n\r\nThere are three files here:\r\n\r\n- Prusa_Rasb_Case_A.STL: This is the original case "top." This part has the mounting tab that would generally be considered the case cover.\r\n- Prusa Rasb Case B wHeatsink.stl: This is the modified base from the original design, with a heatsink hole\r\n- Prusa_Rasb_Case_B.STL: This is the original base, included here for completeness.\r\n\r\nThe case requires:\r\n\r\n- Four M3 x 16 mm Button-head hex (Allen) screws to close the case\r\n- Two M3 x 12 mm Button-head hex (Allen) screws to close the case\r\n\r\nI decided instead of just randomly telling you "I used the screws from the extras bag for my printer," I'd actually provide some information you can use.
