Raspberry Pi Wall Mounted Case - Take 2
thingiverse
Take 2 - Wall mount flat or vertical. Also added HDMI 3.5mm AV and Micro USB. Options for the lid are with or without a fan. The lid is secured in place by M3 screws and brass inserts, which are precision-melted into the plastic using a high-temperature soldering iron. Fan control is achieved through Node-Red, available at https://github.com/Mottramlabs/Node-Red-Fan-Control. This wall mountable case is designed specifically for Raspberry Pi. It's ideal for use with Pi-Hole or other network devices. I personally used one that has Pi-Hole and an MQTT broker for my home automation setup. Important Note: Before connecting the Raspberry Pi, remember to adjust the regulator board to 5V. These boards are shipped with the adjustment turned up high, which can damage your Pi if not corrected. I chose to use a regulator board to power the Pi because good quality 5V 2A wall adaptors are less common than 12V options. Additionally, I prefer more robust connectors than flimsy micro USB ones. The finished unit draws approximately 130mA at 12V when using a B+, possibly slightly more for a Pi 3.
