Raspberry Pi Turret
thingiverse
This turret boasts impressive pan tilt movement capabilities. Originally designed as an antenna tracking turret ground station combo for Flamewheel 450 quad-copters, it was intended to run ArduPilot with ease. Powered by a Raspberry Pi 3 and Navio 2, the system utilizes two continuous servos, a 7" Raspberry Pi touch screen, and two 4" Lazy Susan bearings to achieve its objectives. If you decide to replicate this project, be sure to add four holes to the side where the servos point, accommodating the mount that holds them in place - affectionately known as the servo thingy. The turret's body is laser-cut, with the servo thingy and servo mount crafted via 3D printing. For those seeking the bearings used, a 4" Laser Susan bearing from McMaster Carr was employed; feel free to DM for the link.
