The goal of this project is to create a fully functional, 3D printable tablet powered by a Raspberry Pi. The entire system must be easy to assemble and require readily available parts. It should include a battery as its primary power source, capable of charging via cable but also functioning independently for extended periods. Additionally, the device should be able to operate seamlessly without a keyboard or mouse connected. This project currently employs Raspbian OS, with plans to replace it once a more suitable "touch-first" solution is found. ## Key Features - **Main Component:** Raspberry Pi version 4B+ - **Display Unit:** A 7-inch LCD Display with touch functionality - **Power Management:** Powered by a PiJuice UPS with a 5000 mAmp battery for extended power supply - **Camera System:** Equipped with an Official Raspberry Pi 1080p Camera, positioned front-facing for convenient use. - **Audio and Speaker System:** Utilizes Waveshare Audio HAT to power two speakers and two microphones, as well as provide an audio jack for headphones - **Orientation and Stabilization:** Employs MPU-6050 Gyro/Accelerometer for screen orientation control through Python scripts - **Cooling Mechanism:** Features a fan connected to a Mosfet fan-speed controller with speed controlled via Python commands - **USB Interface:** Includes a breakout USB port - **User Interaction:** Offers Power and Volume Up/Down rocker buttons - **LED Indicators:** - Charge status LED - Power and activity LED light redirected through nylon to the case for aesthetic purposes - **Case Construction:** Features a bamboo wood back with laser etched decal for a unique, high-quality finish.
