I built my own take on a simple soldering 'microscope' I saw on Hackaday, or at least I think that's where I saw it, about two years ago. To make this thing work, I used a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and a standard Raspberry Pi camera. The lens I chose is a cheap CCTV lens I found on eBay called "50 mm F1.4 CCTV TV Lens C Mount Adapter Ring Macro Extension Tubes Black O0Y4". It's mounted on the frame of a 3D printed part that I got from Thingiverse, specifically this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2701483
