Raspberry Pi rail mount
thingiverse
This project involves designing a custom rail mount system for my Raspberry Pi, utilizing the Astrobox interface on my RPI2 for my 3D printing requirements. I previously attempted to print a different model that employed a slide-in triangle feature for mounting, but unfortunately, it malfunctioned due to excessive tightness in the top lid's holes. Upon recalculating my calibration settings, I realized that the issue might be caused by misaligned dimensions on my reprap. Please advise if adjustments are necessary to rectify this problem. To prevent pillar breakage during RPI removal, I deliberately designed the pillars on the base to be shorter than usual, thus avoiding excessive pressure on the lid. This design modification has proven effective in other RPI cases I've printed, as it prevents the pillars from snapping off when the board is removed.
