Raspberry Pi Quad Sata NAS Case
thingiverse
I purchased the Quad SATA HAT for my RPI4, but forgot to order the case as well. When I went back to order it, I realized that the case alone goes for $99.99, and I figured for that price I could waste 3 spools of pla trying to make my own! So here it is, and It runs reasonably cool. Under normal load, the CPU runs at 46°C, and the 4x HDD run at 39°C HAT: After creating this I noticed that someone else has already posted one of these here on thingiverse, so it is nice to have options. What makes my version stand out, is that although it is an enclosed case, the harddrives have their own bracket inside the case so that airflow can move around all sides of all 4 harddrives and keep everything at a reasonable temperature, while at the same time still having 4 solid walls on the outside and not having to expose the hardware. Nothing needs supports, Everything printed at extra crappy quality (0.2mm) for speed. I seperated the main shell into two halfs so that I could tweak parts as I went along without having to re-print large sections. Did you find this helpful?
