Raspberry Pi OLED Case with DIN-rail clips

Raspberry Pi OLED Case with DIN-rail clips

thingiverse

Remixed the case for Raspberry Pi 3 with OLED display to relocate all mounting holes to one side and integrate matching DIN rail clips. The OLED is secured with 4 M2 screws (8mm), while the top of the case is fastened with 4 M3 screws (20mm) to the bottom. The case itself can be mounted using either 4 M4 countersunk head screws or by attaching it directly onto a DIN rail via clips, noting that the clips will cover up HDMI and audio jack connectors as seen in the photo. The thin clips have enough strength to hold the case firmly on the rail; however, if you prefer them to sit flush against the sides of the case, covering up the mounting flanges completely to align nicely with other components on your rail, use the wider ones. Upon closer inspection, one of the vent holes was found to be obstructed by the DIN rail when mounted. To rectify this issue, a 5th hole was added, and the shape was modified to plain rectangular cutouts. The holes were also rearranged to better align with the rail. Version 02 relocates the display closer to the USB/ethernet ports so that the connector does not interfere with a heatsink (as seen in the photo). It also includes pins to hold the Pi in place without requiring any additional screws. An alternative source for the OLED can be found at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L9GC470
