raspberry pi old still camera
thingiverse
This is an older style camera housing designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi B, and it's still an ongoing project, with many details left out at this point. One crucial requirement is to drill a hole into the housing as I've done previously. Update 16/11/14: The lens has been separated into three separate files, while Update 02/02/15 features all python scripts in the camera.zip file. These are modified versions of other raspberry pi cameras and photo booths found on the internet. A few important parts have already been included in the openScad file as well as their STL equivalents. However, I didn't create some components because they were originally designed using different programs, which I'll make sure to link when I can find them again. **Building the Camera Housing** At present, not all screw holes for 3mm screws have been installed, but that will be done eventually once I've found more time. To build this camera housing, you need: 1. A Raspberry Pi B (be cautious since mounting holes may vary for different models). 2. A raspberry pi camera module. 3. A Black Miniature Pushbutton with a SPST Momentary Action to act as the photo trigger. 4. One 3mm Red LED and one 3mm Green LED to light up indicators during operation. 5. A toggle switch that allows you to choose between saving your photos or printing them out. All components were printed using a MakerBot Replicator 2 at the following settings: two shells, ten percent infill, with layers set to 0.2mm.
