Raspberry Pi NAS Frame

Raspberry Pi NAS Frame

This is a straightforward yet practical frame that I created to hold various components of my Raspberry Pi-based NAS together in one spot. Initially, I thought about building an enclosure with disks inside but decided that since the disks were already in enclosures, an open frame like this would be just as effective while taking much less time and filament to print. It accommodates three out of four different USB disk enclosure models I have on hand, and should fit any that are up to 32mm wide by 115mm tall. The length doesn't matter at all. If you want, you can also put bare drives in there - just add some spacers or shims. There's a 5mm high fence on top that keeps a Raspberry Pi (or similar SBC) in place whether it's in a case or not. I tested it with both a purchased and printed case, which you can find at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3807713. There are holes on the front, back, and top for M3x5mm screws so you can attach other things - I used two of them in the pictures here to hold velcro wraps for cable management.
