Raspberry Pi modern case w/ hard drive compartment & VESA holes - Enjoy!
cults3d
I designed this case in Autocad with the goal of housing a raspberry Pi 3 attached to an external hard drive at the back of a monitor, turning it into a budget-friendly All-in-One computer. My plan is to utilize the disk instead of the SD card, following a tutorial by explainingcomputers. After searching online for such a case, I couldn't find one that fit my desired style. I attempted to minimize material usage in order to keep costs low. Perhaps I'll revisit this project someday and refine it further! I hope you enjoy this design as much as I did creating it over the past couple of days. It prints within 8 hours, consists of three parts, and requires some screws (7 small plus 4 for the raspberry itself) to hold everything together. This case has an internal compartment that can accommodate a keyboard and mouse USB dongle, making it an ideal budget-friendly All-in-One computer solution! Thank you! Update 10/8/18: I've updated the design to version 1.1 with a minor fix to the left side lock plate, which was initially weak. I widened it slightly to improve its structural integrity.
