Raspberry Pi modern case w/ hard drive compartment & VESA holes - Enjoy!
thingiverse
I designed this project in Autocad, with the goal of transforming a monitor into an affordable All-In-One computer by adding a Raspberry Pi 3 with a connected hard drive in the back. My plan involves using the disk instead of the SD card, following a tutorial on explainingcomputers. Initially, I searched online for cases like this but couldn't find one that met my style expectations. I attempted to minimize material usage to make it cost-effective. Perhaps I'll revisit this project someday and add some improvements! I hope you enjoy this design as much as I did during the two days I spent working on it. The print time is around 8 hours, consisting of three parts, and requires seven small screws plus four for the Raspberry Pi itself to keep everything assembled. This design includes internal space for a keyboard and mouse USB dongle, making it an ideal affordable All-In-One computer solution. Thank you! Update 10/8/18: I've updated this project to version 1.1 with a minor fix to the left side lock plate, which was initially weak. I widened it to make it stronger.
