Raspberry Pi Model B RCA Stand
thingiverse
I'm equipped with a Raspberry Pi Model B featuring a vibrant TFT screen, prompting me to create a sturdy stand that could elevate it on my workspace to showcase the images or projects I'm working on seamlessly. Upon exploring ways to accomplish this goal, my gaze landed on the centralized RCA port located at the bottom of the device - an unused component just waiting for utilization as a secure anchor point. The fact that the camera already had a customized HDMI adapter designed for it only heightened my interest in this inventive opportunity. A well-designed mounting solution would provide a robust platform for displaying the images and other content with clarity, leveraging the Pi's impressive capabilities without compromise. With an available surface mount in place, I was able to successfully secure my Pi using the precise printed stand, perfectly complemented by its slender profile made possible through a Printrbot Simple Metal. The print's specifications - 0.2mm layer thickness in PLA - yielded an impeccable model that not only fitted the device snugly but also accentuated its streamlined aesthetic appeal significantly.
