Raspberry Pi + IKEA Dioder enclosure
thingiverse
A custom enclosure is built that cradles both the Raspberry Pi and Dioder controller securely inside, showcasing its impressive strain relief on the Dioder cable perfectly. A reliable power supply has been installed by incorporating a Murata OKI-78SR-5 in the enclosure to harness power directly from the 12V supply going to the Dioder. This specially designed enclosure is made to utilize two high-strength threaded brass inserts at its base and sturdy screws that keep the lid firmly attached, using 4-40 threading for maximum reliability. It's worth noting that some difficulty was experienced in printing the enclosure's top cover due to a minor flaw – the sawtooth vent features have relatively low surface area binding to the build platform during printing, leading to an offset issue.
