Not a very catchy name, I know, but I think it's a really cool concept. Been working on this a few weeks prior to the competition and it's not complete right now but I thought I'd post it as a WIP.

Basically, I want to have a stationary camera follow a moving target (in this case a race car around a track). I use two RPis, one with the camera and one with the car, that communicate with each other using LoRa. The car has a GPS module and will send it's location to the camera so it can work out which angle it needs to be facing and a servo will turn to wherever it needs.

It also uses a phone as the camera because I don't have a fancy expensive camera.

26/07/2022

As of posting I only have the camera base designed and printed, I hope to make some refinements but it's good enough for testing right now. Currently, I'm playing around with the radio and GPS modules and working out the code for calculating where the servo needs to be facing.
