Raspberry Pi Display Case Portrait Feet Mod
thingiverse
I wanted my 7-inch Raspberry Pi to stand upright in portrait orientation, but luc_e's case design wouldn't allow it, so I redesigned the back cover of the case to support a set of feet that can prop it up. This panel is designed to work directly with luc_e's "Raspberry Pi 7 Inch Touchscreen display case" at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1585924. Feet slide into the dovetail on the back, leg extenders make it more stable and fit perfectly into the hole in the bottom of the feet. If you glue a small electronics push button into the corresponding hole in the panel, then you can glue the button top to the push button from the outside of the panel to extend its reach. This can be wired directly to your Pi as a wake-up/start-up button with just a couple of wires.
