!!!! REMOVE MICROSD BEFORE INSERTING RPI INSIDE !!! I needed a decent mount for my smart-home raspberry pi that fit on a DIN rail. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one with cooling included. That's why I decided to design my own. ### It's Not Perfect in a Few Ways: * Some versions of the RPI sit perfectly on standoffs, while others don't. For example, my Asus tinkerboard required me to cut or shorten the mounts near the holds so it would fit. * Most cases I've seen require you to insert the RPI halfway into the case, which leaves room for a MicroSD hole of corresponding size. This design doesn't work that way - I have two parts: a box and a cover. To save yourself some money, remove the MicroSD and insert it carefully from the MicroSD side. * I'm using a blue radiator designed for 3D printing, which fits fine on top of the chip. If you have a larger one, you might need to use pliers to remove the top cover parts. ### Things You Might Need to Buy: Here are the items I bought from Aliexpress so you don't have to search (use the same name for Amazon): * DIN rail (you should already have this, otherwise this design doesn't make sense - local retail sells it for $1.5) * Silent cooling fan 5015 (12v is enough - it's quiet enough or 5v if you want mega cooling) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32876145149.html * (Optional) M2.5 M3 Copper Inserts Brass Double Pass Knurl Nut Embedded Fastener https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32842866575.html
