Raspberry Pi coaster

Hi, I designed and printed this Raspberry Pi coaster in no time. The Raspberry Pi is a programmable minicomputer that's perfect for learning. Although I'm not great at programming, I love the idea of using it as a desktop to listen to music on YouTube. To take my projects to the next level, I even plugged an Arduino into the USB port and started creating little Arduino tutorials on YouTube. Use this Raspberry Pi coaster to place your favorite drink and keep your surfaces clean. This coaster is a standard size (100 by 100 by 5 mm), making it easy to fit in any coaster holder. If you're looking for a matching coaster holder, I recommend checking out the one available at Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130397 I used a skirt to prime my nozzle extra and printed this model with Ultimaker white PLA using a 0.2mm layerheight and 10% infill. Design Process To create this design, I started by picking a logo from my browser and converting it into an SVG file in Inkscape. Next, I opened the SVG file in Blender and turned it into a 3D object. Then, I used Meshmixer to repair the file, erase some unnecessary parts, and add a coaster on top of it. After scaling the picture, I merged it with the coaster and saved it as an STL file. However, since the model still had some issues, I decided to export it into Netfabb Online Service for further repairs. I discovered Netfabb Online Service recently after using MakePrintable, which only offers three procedures for fixing STL files. With unlimited procedures available in Netfabb, my choice was clear. It worked well for me and allowed me to slice the model without any problems. If you're interested in learning how I design a 2D picture into a 3D model, check out this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6cmClwLhz8 (under 6 minutes). To create your own 2D to 3D designs, use Blender for free by downloading it from: https://www.blender.org/download/ and Inkscape for free at: https://inkscape.org/nl/download/ Best, Raimon Elctrncs
